20 April 2026 updates: clearer registration, sharper pricing, and a friendlier 404

By Andrew McDowell

Small changes, big clarity

Today we rolled out a number of small fixes to smooth out some inconsistencies in the user experience. The refinements were across the Biz Secure Online marketing site and customer portal, aimed at making everyday interactions clearer, more predictable, and a little friendlier.

Here's what's new.

Registration and privacy controls

We've given the account creation page a thoughtful pass to make consent and communication preferences explicit.

  • Optional marketing opt-in. When you create your account, you now have an independent, unchecked-by-default option to receive marketing communications from us. Your consent is explicit, recorded against your account, and easy for us to honour. If you don't want the emails, leave the box unchecked — you'll still receive essential service notifications like scan reports and site-down alerts.
  • Terms and Privacy, clearly linked. Our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy are now prominently visible on the registration page, and the links point to the region-specific version that applies to you — Australia/NZ, United Kingdom, United States, or European Union.
  • A small but useful note. We've added a subtle line to let you know that links on the registration page open in a new browser tab — so you won't lose your spot while reviewing anything.

Pricing clarity for the Business tier

The Business plan is priced per domain with a minimum commitment of four domains. That's always been the case, but it wasn't shown as plainly as it should have been.

  • The Minimum of 4 domains note now appears directly on the Business tier on our public pricing page and inside the subscription page in your customer portal. No small-print surprises, no calls to support to confirm.

A sharper support commitment for UK customers

We've tightened the copy on our UK contact page to make our response commitment easier to read and easier for us to hold ourselves to.

  • You'll now see a clear promise: we'll confirm your message within one working day and follow up within two working days. Same standard we've always worked to — just stated more directly.

A friendlier missing-page experience

If you ever land on a URL that doesn't exist on bizsecure.online, you'll now see a properly branded page rather than a generic browser error.

  • The new 404 page includes our standard header and footer, a clear explanation that the page couldn't be found, and a direct link back to the homepage for your region. You won't be stranded — we'll pick you right back up.

Wrap-up

These aren't flashy changes. They're the kind of refinements we make because we listen — every one of them came from something we heard from a customer, a partner, or the team reviewing the product from a fresh angle. Nothing is too small to improve if it makes your experience clearer.

More coming. In the meantime, if you spot something that could be cleaner, please email us on support@bizsecure.online with your suggestion. Real visitor feedback is always welcome.
